The room was so inviting and homey. It was very clean. The shower was amazing! The room had a bag of microwave POPCORN!!! There were chairs right outside of our room to sit outside. The location was wonderful! We were able to walk EVERYWHERE! The price was very reasonable. We received -10% at at least two restaurants and the Creamery. Book the Sherwood Motel; you will be glad you did! The little town of Wellsboro is so quaint. You will love it!

Sherwood Motel is still fantastic after 20 years! I’ve stayed here 5 or 6 times over the years. It is always sparkling clean, comfortable, updated. It’s in an excellent location very close to all kinds of amenities…restaurants walking distance, grocery store and pharmacy across the street, a vintage movie theatre a short walk away. Perfectly located for us motorcyclists that love riding scenic loops on the local twisty roads. I’ve even brought a bicycle and rode the Pine Creek railtrail. Look forward to returning many times!

The room was very clean and orderly as were the bathroom facilities. Liked that the Motel is centrally located to restaurants, shops, etc. My friend and I took a walking tour after breakfast and visited many of the shops as well as the town square by the Court House. Wellsboro is a beautiful town with so much to offer. Don't change a thing!!!! We plan to visit again in the near future.

Such a charming little spot with a super comfy bed and delightful room. Parking is right outside your door, so easy to get your stuff in and out. The swimming pool was just past the motel. The location is just off the downtown Wellsboro with a short walk to stores and restaurants. The Wellsboro diner for breakfast was charming. Only stayed one night passing through, but there is so much to do in the area that it would be fine for a longer stay.

Great price, comfortable beds, clean room, friendly staff, well-kept room, good lighting in bathroom. Appreciated the fridge and microwave. Would definitely stay here again!

Staff was really great. Myself, along with the other guests I was staying with, were out very late visiting Cherry Springs park nearby and I called in the morning to ask for a later checkout and they were very hospitable about letting us stay an extra hour or two on short notice. Also left behind an expensive camping mat by accident and they called me within half an hour and let me know they had it waiting for me. Very happy with my choice of where to stay.

Location, walking distance to everything if you don’t want to drive, the rooms don’t face street traffic.

Room was very nice and clean. We had two queen beds in our room, which was good because one bed was more comfortable than the other. The location was perfect for walking around downtown Wellsboro.
